We
took this scenic parkway drive that runs parallel to U.S. 101 and
goes through the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. For about 20
miles you go past groves of redwoods, each one you swear is more
beautiful and bigger than the last - until you get to the next one
and then the debate starts all over again.

We
were glad to have large enough pull-outs to stop and walk a bit
through the groves and listen to the silent language of the trees.
|
||
|
||
|
Even
the stumps left by the fallen ones made my motorhome seem not as
large as before.
|
||
|
||
|
Mom
couldn't decide which one of these beauties she wanted to hug first.
|
||
|
||
|
Here
she is looking up to the tops of the trees or thanking God for letting
her see these creations - you decide.
|
||
|
||
|
We
both remarked we were happy to have taken this more scenic route
through these green giants.
