It
was the season's maiden voyage of the Lu-Lu Belle, the aptly named
"Limousine of Prince William Sound."

Because
Captain Fred wasn't tired of tourists yet, he spent the entire day
on the water showing us the Columbia Glacier, locating sea otters,
sea lions, whales, and taking us in for close-ups of beautiful sea
caves and waterfall dotted shorelines.

Fred maneuvered easily through the beautiful blue iceberg filled waters

These
pictures don't do it justice, mainly because it tries to put something
so huge into such a small space, but that's the Columbia Glacier
in the background spilling out its iceberg guts into the frigid
waters.

I
met two incredibly inspirational couples in Valdez who have
become some of my dearest friends. Chuck & Kalyn, although
"bogus" Texans, have hearts as big as their adopted
state.

Woody
& Genie were celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary,
still smooching!
