very first train ride ever went to Crawford's Notch, a 5 hour trip
through heaven - winding up into the mountains on roads not available
by car. The train chugged up into mountains that were technicolored
with the changing trees. |

As far
as you could see there were colors of all kinds - deep in the
valleys and up on the mountain ridges until the snow took over
on the very mountaintop. |

Once we got to
the end of the line, we were treated with the first snowfall
of the season - when we arrived, there was over 5" of
snow. We got off the train and threw snowballs at each other!

We dry camped at
WalMart while in North Conway - snow capped mountains and
multi-colored trees - and the price was certainly right!
