| We
really enjoyed our day in Montreal. The Canadian people were so nice
and friendly. We really got a kick of out being greeted with a hearty
"Bon Jour" everywhere we went. I think they really got a
kick out of our trying to reply in kind with our twangy Texas accents! |

We
visited the basilica of Notre Dame. I have never been bathed
in a more beautiful color of blue than surrounds you when
you walk into that sanctuary.
No
matter what religion you choose to believe in, it is always
amazing to see what lengths men will go to in order to express
themselves to their God.

We
stopped and smelled the roses at their exquisite botanical
gardens.

had not seen Hibiscus this large even in Hawaii!
It
was a perfectly glorious Canadian day!
