| When
last weekend was beautifully clear, so unusual for Portland winters,
we felt obligated to get out and explore a little - something we haven't
done much of lately. We drove south to Linn County where there are
a bunch of covered bridges dotting the countryside. We took a route
that took us into about 6 of them. It was a great drive through green
rolling farms and fields with white tipped mountains in the background
and driving into the covered bridges spanning across babbling streams.
It was certainly one of Oregon's finest winter days. |
